Collection of your Personal Information
In order to become an EventEve member you must first register on our website. During this registration process you are required to provide your personally identifiable information, such as your name and e-mail address. Later, once you are a member you may provide additional information for your member profile such as gender, address, date of birth, preferences, interests and favorites. Providing additional information is optional, but allows you to identify yourself better and find relevant services at EventEve.
If you directly disclose personal or sensitive information through EventEve public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others. EventEve does not read any of your private online communications.
EventEve encourages you to read the privacy statements of web sites you choose to link to from EventEve so that you can comprehend how those web sites collect, use and share your information. EventEve is not responsible for the privacy statements or content on web sites outside of EventEve.
Use of your Personal Information
EventEve collects and uses your personal information to operate EventEve and deliver the services you request. When you register with EventEve, you may be automatically enrolled in our monthly newsletter. This newsletter has information about upcoming holidays, new features, and useful tips about using the website. If you do not wish to receive the monthly newsletter, simply unsubscribe the first time you receive the newsletter. You can quickly and easily unsubscribe by clicking the "Unsubscribe" links in the newsletter. When you unsubscribe, you will no longer receive the monthly newsletter. However, you will continue to receive emails that are related to your usage of the EventEve website. EventEve also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from EventEve and its affiliates. EventEve will communicate with you through emails and messages posted on EventEve.
EventEve may, from time to time, contact you for a particular offering that may be of interest to you without sharing your unique personally identifiable information with anyone. EventEve may share data with trusted partners to perform statistical analysis, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to EventEve, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
EventEve will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or if such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on EventEve; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of EventEve; and, (c) act under taxing circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of EventEve, or the public.
Like most websites, EventEve uses "cookies" to allow you to bypass the login screen ("Remember Me" functionality). A cookie is a tiny data file which resides on your computer and allows EventEve to recognize you as a member when you return to EventEve from the same computer and browser. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer.
Any third party link or Advertisement company that we integrate, may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.
Security of your Personal Information
EventEve secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Presently, we do not sell anything directly or indirectly. In future, however, whenever personal information (such as a credit card number) will be transmitted to other web sites, it will be protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
