Ingredients
1/2 gallon ice cream (flavour of your choice – we use French vanilla, try to buy the kind in the square box)
1 stick margarine
3 C. Rice Krispies cereal
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Melt butter and stir into Rice Krispies to coat well.
Pour butter and cereal mixture onto baking sheet — spread out as much as possible.
Bake in oven until toasted brown (lightly toasted) – usually about 10-15 minutes. Let cool.
Place half of cereal mixture in bottom of 13x9x1-inch baking dish.
Slice ice cream into thirds and place each slice on top of cereal mixture to cover like a layered cake.
Place remaining half of cereal mixture over top of ice cream.
Freeze until ready to serve.
